Screenshot → annotated → pasted in seconds.
Nemmr Shots is the screenshot tool for people who explain things for a living. Grab any part of the screen, mark it up with single-key tools, and it's already on your clipboard — ready for Teams, Slack, email or the ticket.
Everything a great screenshot needs.
Nothing it doesn't.
Built for support staff, consultants, developers and anyone who writes documentation, tickets or how-tos every day.
Straight to your clipboard. No detours.
Press your hotkey, drag a rectangle, let go. The image is on your clipboard before your hand leaves the mouse — no save dialogs, no files to clean up later.
- Area, window and full-screen capture — each on its own global hotkey
- Pixel-perfect on mixed-DPI, multi-monitor setups
- Opens straight in the editor when you want to mark it up
- Pin any capture on top of your other windows for reference
Tools that look good by default.
Every mark is designed to be read at a glance — even when the screenshot is shrunk down into a chat message.
- Arrows that scale — the head grows with the length, so short arrows stay crisp
- Rectangles with rounded corners and the border drawn outside, so nothing underneath is covered
- Text boxes in filled or outline style
- Highlighter, freehand pen, lines and ovals
- Numbered steps that count themselves
- Pixel blur you can move and resize after the fact
Snaps to the UI you're pointing at.
Nemmr Shots sees the edges in your screenshot — panels, buttons, table rows — and snaps rectangles and crops right onto them, with guides showing exactly what lined up. Lines and arrows snap to clean angles too.
- Edge detection on the actual pixels
- Live alignment guides while you drag
- Hold Alt to place freely; Shift locks lines to 15° steps
Copy text out of any image.
Error dialogs, license keys, tracking numbers, that one paragraph in a PDF someone sent as a picture. Drag over an area with E or read the whole image with Shift+E — the text appears in a chat bubble, ready to copy.
- Runs on-device with the Windows OCR engine — nothing is uploaded
- Area or whole-image recognition
- Copy the result with one click

Questions, answered.
Which versions of Windows are supported?
Nemmr Shots runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). It lives in the system tray and uses very little memory while idle.
Are my screenshots uploaded anywhere?
No. Captures go to your clipboard and stay on your PC. There's no account and no cloud service involved — even OCR runs on-device using the text recognition built into Windows.
How is Nemmr Shots different from the Windows Snipping Tool?
Snipping Tool gets you a screenshot. Nemmr Shots gets you a finished screenshot: scaling arrows, outside-border rectangles, numbered steps, movable blur, edge snapping, OCR, backdrops with your company image and an author stamp — all on single-key shortcuts, then straight to the clipboard.
Can I use my company's branding on screenshots?
Yes. Set your own image as a backdrop, add your name and the date as a stamp, and save it in a profile (for example "Work") so it's applied automatically to every capture.
Does OCR work in other languages?
OCR uses the Windows text-recognition engine, so it supports the languages you have installed in Windows.
Does it work with multiple monitors and high-DPI screens?
Yes. Nemmr Shots captures in physical pixels on every monitor, including mixed-DPI setups, so what you capture is exactly what's on screen.
What will it cost?
There will be a free tier. Pricing for Pro and Team hasn't been set yet — the prices shown above are placeholders.
Your next screenshot could be done already.
